The vision for this site is to provide a website that will be considered to be effective and authoritative by scouts and scouters of all skill levels to implement a unit website.
Mission
This website is designed to provide guidance, information and tools to Scouting units and the unit leaders to develop highly effective websites for their troops, packs or crews. We provide information about tools, techniques, artwork and templates that will allow a scout unit to quickly and effectively build and publish a website.
Acknowledgements
Website development and planning are a passion for me. This passion is second only to Scouting, but it would be dishonest to claim all the credit for this site. Many have sacrificed and provided valuable input to allow me to continuously improve the eScouting.net website
First and foremost to my wife and family, who have been extremely patient and forgiving of the many hours I have dedicated to writing, editing, developing and maintaining of the eScouting dot net website.
To Hawley Heglar, dear friend, scouter, mentor and an example to all. Thank you for your advice, vigilance and follow through.
To the leadership of the Woodbadge SR-619. They taught me to find a home in scouting and to give back to scouting.
